Sonic chaos character discusion

Sonic can collect the emerald but he has no continues.
Tails has three continues and he flies but he can't collect the emeralds.

Tails is definitely the easy mode of the game, for a game that is already not too difficult. I prefer to play as Sonic, but if I'm testing things out for hacks then I'll play as Tails depending on what I'm testing. I did make a hack that allows Tails to visit special stages, though I had to change the layout of the first one since it literally just gives you a rocket shoes monitor and you just fly through the level to get the chaos emerald.
