It would be awesome if Sega did remake the game, but at this point I'm pretty sure they just don't want to acknowledge it's existence. I know a few fans are remaking it, and I think people are just starting to hack the 360 version of the game to make it run a bit better. So if Sega isn't going to do it, then some fans might.
