I agree. seriouisly a 3d remake would be amazing. seeing hyper sonic and super tails in 3d needs to happen.

The PC version of Sonic Generations. Not the Xbox, PS3, or 3DS versions - the PC version.
It's literally the best of every Sonic game rolled into one. I say PC because that 60FPS framerate, really nice resolutions, and of course, the mods.

Although, Sonic 06 comes in a close second...

Classic style:

Sonic 3 & Knuckles: For the soundtrack and level design, but i do like Sonic Mania too, i just wanted a more original game, not a remix of past stages. Also, Sonic 3 Complete is the best way to play S3K.

Modern style: While i do like Generations, SA1 is my favorite modern game for the level design for Sonic. It is a natural translation of the LD of 2D games to 3D, i just love the freedom that game gives the player with the open stages and Sonic's abilities.

Favorite spin-off:

That would be Sonic Runners, when it was a thing... amazing soundtrack, nice and colorful graphics, addicting gameplay, too bad it was always online only, too much menus, and too much loading time.

From the Classic era I used to like Sonic 3 & Knuckles a lot, now I like Mania more, and CD.
And from the Modern era I really like Generations and Colors.
