Game Grumps

I'm guessing you all know about Game Grumps so I figured I'd get them out of the way first. Jon is gone but the new gang can still be really funny. Except for Ross.

Run Button

Run Button are two cousins who like to play and talk about video games. They finished a series where they played through every single Sonic game (including the spin-offs) and are currently doing the same with Mario games, but they play other games as well. They're pretty entertaining.

Two Best Friends Play

Two Best Friends Play consists of two best friends (occasionally four) who like to play video games. I feel like they're one of the few big LPers who also play fairly obscure games so I kinda like them for that. They're also pretty knowledgeable about the games they play, and most importantly they're funny.

You should watch their Dokapon Kingdom Let's Play. I watched every single episode in almost two days.

A couple more I forgot about:

Tipping Forties - These guys played a bunch of different kinds of games while drinking. They broke up a few years ago but most of their stuff is archived on YouTube. I recommend their New Super Mario Bros. Wii LP.

Pokecapn - These guys are famous for their Sonic 06 LP, but they've also played some other Sonic games as well as every Mario Party game and Zelda Four Swords. I recommend their Sonic 06 LP if you can sit through it all.

My Favourite LPers are the same two I've always known and kept me subscribed ever since I knew what LPs were.

SGBLikestoplay/Super Gaming Bros.
A small group of brothers who play quite the variety of games, good and bad, tho it's mostly Nintendo and Sonic stuff. They're more often than not very informative and give very detailed information about the game they're playing such as tips, tricks, trivia and history, and they do their best to show off as much as possible, like a 100% run. The 3 of them together are open minded and very entertaining. They're general high spirited attitude and open mindedness towards video games is what keeps me coming back.
I recommend their Kingdom Hearts LP

A band of 4 friends who's LPs are of a similar fashion to SGB, and I like them for the same reasons I like SGB, they're informative, entertaining, and generally high spirited and open minded.

Let's Play

Recently I've been getting into Rooster Teeth's LP channel. I've always listened to their podcast but I never watched any of their other stuff. I don't know how they managed to snag the name "Let's Play" though. They own the phrase that everyone uses when referring to videos of video game playthroughs. That's some Saran wrap shit. Anyway, their videos are funny and the chemistry between the group is great (as it always is).
