CHAPTER 1: THE JOURNEY BEGINS

Pat: Yes, I caught a Pansear!

Tepig: Te-tepig!

Recently, Pat has just been trying to catch Pokemon. He has a Tepig, a Pidove, a Swadloon, and now a Pansear.

Pat: Let's head for the Striaton Gym, Tepig.

Tepig: Te...pig!

Pat: *takes out Poke Ball, presses middle button, Poke Ball grows to the size of a baseball, and holds it out to the direction of Tepig* Return! *red beam of light comes from the button,  hitting Tepig, miniaturizing Tepig and goes back inside the Poke Ball* Here we go! *gets on bike and rides off*

While walking, Pat stumbles upon a wild Pawniard.

Pat: Go, Swadloon! *throws Poke Ball, opens and a white light shoots out, changing form, until Swadloon emerges*

Swadloon: Swadlooon!

Pat: Use String Shot!

Swadloon: Swadlooon! *web-like material comes out of Swadloon's mouth, wrapping around the wild Pawniard*

Pawniard: Pawn-pawn! *uses X-Scissor to get out and uses Close Combat*

Pat: Swadloon, finish this off with Leaf Storm!

Swadloon: *leafs rustle up and form a tornado on top of Swadloon's mouth, and goes to Pawniard, carrying it up and dropping it, with Pawniard exhausted*

Pat: Good job! Return! *points Poke Ball at Swadloon, with the red light hitting Swadloon, cloaking it in it, and goes back into the ball* *takes empty Poke Ball from belt* Go, Poke Ball! *Poke Ball hits the unconscious Pawniard, opening and turning Pawniard into white light, going inside the Poke Ball as it closes and drops onto the grass* *button shines red as Poke Ball shake violently until it stops and the button turns normal* All right, I caught a Pawniard! *gets on bike and rides off*

Stephen: Well crap. I can't seem to find the Striaton Gym. What do you think we should do, Emerald?

OoC: Emerald is the name of my snivy. in my copy of pokemon white he is now a Serperior. o3o

Emerald: Sni-vy! *points at the gym, as if he's annoyed*

Pat: *rides bike through forest, moving so fast, accidentally bumping into Stephen* Omg, I'm SO sorry! My name is Pat! Nice to meet you!

OoC: If your trainer is 13, Imma change mine's to 14 (to coincide with my real age).

Pat: Ughf, Tepig, come meet our new friends! *throws Poke Ball, open, shooting out a white light, changing to the form of Tepig, who emerges from the light*

Tepig: Te-tepig! *readies like a bull*

Pat: This  is my partner, Tepig!

Stephen: We were on our way to the Striaton Gym until you rammed into us. Speaking of which, where is it.

Emerald (annoyed): Sni-VY! *jumps on Stephen's shoulder and turns his head towards the Striaton Gym*

Stephen: Looks like a resteraunt.

Emerald: Snivy! *jumps off of stephen's shoulder*..Snivy...*looks at the gym* SNIVY!!

Stephen: what is it, Emerald? something wrong?

Stephen: Those weird people from Accumula Town are here?

Emerald: *nods repeatedly* SNIVY!!

Stephen: And they're mostly around the gym?

Stephen: Great...It's Team Plasma.

Pat: Uh-oh! We better get there! Idk who's Team Plasma, but the sound evil! Do you have a bike?

Stephen: Team Plasma is a group of idiots who steal Pokemon away from their trainers. QUICK! let's run to the Dream Yard!

OoC: The dream yard is a place where you can train your pokemon when they are low level Pokemon. Also, Munna and Musharna are occasionally found there.

Stephen: That was close.

Emerald: Snivy...

Stephen: anyway, let's do some training!

Emerald: SNI-VY!

Pat: If we're training, let me test out this Pansear! *throws Poke Ball, Pansear comes out*

Pansear: Pan-pansear!

Pat: Pansear, use Flamethrower!

Pansear: Pansear! *flames burst out of it's mouth like a flamethrower*

Stephen: EMERALD, USE LEAF TORNADO ON PANPOUR'S STREAM!

*the attacks collide causing a beautiful result*

Stephen: I'm trying to figure out how I can turn that into an attack.

OoC: Isn't it Leaf Storm?

Pat: Swadloon, use your string shot! *throws Poke Ball, opening and Swadloon emerges*

Swadloon: Swadlooon! *web-like material comes out of Swadloon's mouth and wraps around Pansear's flamethrower* *burnt glob of web-like material clumps onto a tree, burning a hole*

Pat: How's that, Stephen?

Emerald: SNIVY! (translation: show off)

Panpour: Panpour pan. (Translation: we were showing off too, you know...)

Stephen: Looks like the coast is clear. Let's head to the Gym, Emerald and Panpour!

Pat: Looks like Emerald's anxious. *pets* *brings out two Poke Balls* Pansear, Swadloon, return! *both return* *hops on bike* Stephen, you got a bike?

Pat: Let's walk inside and see. *opens door and walks inside, examining the restaurant gym* Oh, good! I'M STARVING!!!

Cilan: Oh, another customer! Welcome! I'm Cilan!

Chili: I'm Chili!

Cress: And I'm Cress! What would you like to order?

Pat: Let's see. I would like a Filet Mignon Steak! Rare, please!

Chili: I'll take that order! One rare Filet Mignon Steak coming right up!

Pat: Thanks. Then after I finish my steak, I would like to have a gym battle!

Cilan: What Pokemon did you choose as your starter?

Pat: Oh, that's easy! I chose my buddy, Tepig!

Cress: Well then, it looks like you're gonna have to battle me!

Pat: That's cool!

Chili: Your steak is ready! *hands steak to Pat*

Pat: Thanks! *grabs honey BBQ sauce and pours it on steak, then gets fork and knife, eating the steak* *mouth full* Mmm. THAT'S SOME GOOD STEAK!!!

Chili: Thank you! I cooked it very fine!

Stephen: (I'm beginning to understand why I was never able to leave my home town before...)

Emerald: (walks up to Chili)

Panpour: Panpour pan. (He's trying to challenge him.)

Emerald: SNIVY SNIVY SNI! (JUST CHALLENGE THE FLAME-HEADED TRAINER!)

*awkward silence*

Stephen: I must be going nuts. For a second there I thought I heard Emerald speak english.

Emerald: Snivy..? (What are you talking about?)

Panpour: *tugs on Stephen's pants* You must be tired. We haven't slept since we left Nuvema Town.

Stephen: Now i'm hearing Panpour speak! I'm...*yawn* going insane....*falls flat on his face, falling asleep in the process (and squishing Emerald)*

Panpour: Panpour? (you okay, emerald?)

Pat: *eating steak, looks at Stephen, shrugs, and continues eating steak*

Emerald: SNIVY! (Finally some action!)

Atcher (panpour): Panpour! (This should be a great battle!)

OoC: Got to move the story somewhere.

OoC: A little change. Instead of owning a Pansear, Pat owns a Pansage now. Just to battle Cress.

Chilli: I accept! This is going to be a good battle!

Striaton Trio: FIELD OPEN!!! *a giant battlefield opens in the restaurant*

Pat: Alright! *grabs Poke Ball and presses button, ball expands* Go, Tepig! *throws Poke Ball, ball opens, releasing white light that changes shape, Tepig bursts out of the light*

Tepig: Tepig, tep, tep! (I'm so pumped!)

Pat: Tepig, I believe in you! You can win!

Tepig: Pig, tep, pig, tep. (Thanks. I won't let you down!) *snorts streams of fire out of nostrils*

Cress: Okay, then. Go Lillipup! *throws Poke Ball, Lillipup comes out*

Lillipup: Arf, arf. (I'll win!)

Referree: This match between the leader, Cress, and the challenger Pat from Nuvema Town will now begin.

Cress: GET READY TO BE TESTED, PAT!!!

Pat: BRING IT ON, CRESS!!!
