About Windows 7

I'm buying quite a decent laptop in a few weeks. It of course has Windows 7 on it. I am just wondering for those that already have Windows 7, what did you think of it? Also is it better than Vista?

I tried a couple of betas of 7 on my computer using a different HDD, it seemed quite good. I haven't tried the proper release of it yet, so I am just curious. What's it like for stability, ease of use, etc? What's the annoying features?

I had quite a good impression of Windows 7 when I tried it, apart from the rather thick taskbar.
