Well, some good news: the Kickstarter was cancelled because the game has been picked up by Team17 (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/allisonroad/allison-road-first-person-next-gen-survival-horror/posts/1380094). Hopefully this leads to them having a bigger budget.

Hopefully the bigger budget leaves them with enough money to hire Hideo Kojima, Guillermo Del Toro, and Junji Ito.

I don't think their budget is that big, but it is possible.
