My mom and I were just talking about this. It's extremely silly.

QuoteAlabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas have all received signatures and filed petitions via the White House's "We the People" website.

All the states marked in red here would drop. See how annoying that would be to navigate?

Also, have fun managing a new country in this day and age.

Edit: That image is wrong. I don't know why I highlighted Washington. =\

It's an extremely small number of people. I have youtube videos with more views than those petitions have signatures. News people just don't know that online petitions are pointless.

Which is what I was thinking. At least he isn't as bad as my mom. She thought Puerto Rico was the 53rd state. @_@

I believe our flag has had a circle of stars several times, but not in recent years. Maybe back in the 1800s. I just looked it up and I've already forgotten.
